외출은 물론, 평소 알고지내던 동네 이웃들과의 만남도 어려워진 지금. 덕희 할머니에게 필요한 것은 무엇일까요?

우리동네 사랑방에 처음으로 접속하게 된 덕희 할머니, 사랑방에 접속한 뒤 마주한 것은 동네 이웃들의 따뜻한 환영 인사였습니다.
늘 친근하게 챙겨주던 순자 할머니, 순자 할머니와 티격태격 하면서도 늘 사이좋은 자매처럼 지내는 은미 할머니,
그리고 오래 전부터 동네에서 이웃들을 도우며 살아오던 자상하신 병훈 할아버지까지.
유난히 추운 2020년, 비록 몸은 멀리 있어도 마음은 함께하는 우리동네 사랑방에서 훈훈하게 겨울나기를 준비하실 수 있겠습니다.

감염병 위기 상황 속, 오늘날의 디자인으로부터 소외되어 있는 어르신들의 상황에 주목해보았습니다.
어르신들이 이용하는 고유의 커뮤니티 공간으로서 정립되어있는 '경로당'의 역할을 조사하고,
디자인적인 심미성을 1순위로 두기보다는, 이용에 불편함이 없는 시스템을 채택하였습니다.
우리동네 사랑방. 어르신들만의 커뮤니티를 통해 앞으로는 어르신들 곁에 봄날이 함께 했으면 좋겠습니다.
